Project Approach
We believe the design process should be a fun and relaxed experience. We start by listening to the client's vision of their new home and asking questions about what they want, how they live, and what are their priorities. We then use our experience and expertise to sketch a variety of creative design options to meet the client's individual needs. After incorporating those needs and wants into the plan, the client will leave with a conceptual drawing of the home. Together we will have created a design reflecting the spirit of the client and the function of the space.
Production
At Covert + Associates we know that time is money. Our in house team ensures that the plans are produced from conception to final construction drawings with efficiency and accuracy as our top priority. We have over
30 years experience designing custom home plans. Our plans work in the field, they sell, and they create value for our clients.
Accommodation
We believe the design process should be flexible enough to accommodate scheduling needs of the client and extend beyond face-to-face meetings. Our clients deserve careful respect of their time. We have created a space for our in house team to collaborate with clients beyond the offices of Covert+Associates. Above this space is a high-definition, ultra-zoom camera to allow our clients to work with our team while viewing their design from any internet-connected computer, tablet, or phone. From quick questions that meant a drive back and forth across town to design reviews a client might not be able to otherwise schedule for many weeks, this space allows us to provide a hidden savings to the most precious resource in the possession of our clients: time.
